Camarb Controller — Informativa privacy
Ultimo aggiornamento: 30 settembre 2026
In breve

Camarb Controller — Privacy policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
Camarb Controller is Bramac Srl's app for connecting to Camarb 4.0 industrial sewing machines. This policy describes what data the app handles and where it goes.
Summary
- The app does not collect personal data: no account, no registration, no usage analytics, no advertising, no tracking.
- The app only talks to the Camarb machine (Bluetooth and the machine's own local Wi-Fi network) and to Bramac's update server.
Communication with the machine
Pairing is done by scanning the QR code shown on the machine's screen; the connection uses Bluetooth and then the local Wi-Fi network created by the machine itself. Between phone and machine the app exchanges: machine status and speed, production statistics, wear counters, the maintenance log, machine configuration, training videos and update packages. This data stays between the phone and the machine: the app does not send it to Bramac or to third parties.
Pairing keys are stored only on the phone, in the iOS Keychain, and are excluded from backups.
Camera and microphone
The camera is used to scan the pairing QR code, to read text (for example a server fingerprint) and to record training videos; the microphone records the audio of those videos. Videos stay on the phone until the user chooses to send them to their own machine. The app does not upload them to any Bramac service.
If the customer configures a cloud archive on their machine (for example Google Drive or an SFTP server of their choice), transfers to that archive are performed by the machine, to the destination chosen by the customer and under the customer's responsibility.
Updates
To update the machine's software the app downloads signed packages from
update.bramac.cloud and delivers them to the machine. Requests contain only the machine
model and update channel; as with any website, the server receives the connection's IP address,
used only to deliver the files and to keep the service secure.
Diagnostics
The diagnostic bundle and the statistics export are created only when the user asks for them and are shared through the iOS share sheet, to recipients chosen by the user.
Remote assistance on the machine
Bramac technical support can access a machine only if the customer explicitly authorizes it on the machine itself; this does not go through the app.
Children
The app is intended for professional use in industry and is not directed to children.
